Fatal Columbiana County semi-truck crash death of Robert J. Walters – Obituary
Early Wednesday morning, 59-year-old Robert J. Walters from Manchester, New Jersey, tragically lost his life in a crash on U.S. Route 30 in Columbiana County. Walters was driving a 2024 International semi-truck eastbound when he failed to navigate a curve, causing the truck to veer off the road and travel down an embankment before overturning onto its roof.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Walters was pronounced dead shortly after the crash. The Ohio State Highway Patrol, along with local emergency services, are investigating the cause of the crash, which occurred around 4:42 a.m. One lane of U.S. 30 has since reopened.
