Authorities have identified the victim of a deadly tractor-trailer accident in Laredo as 33-year-old Olimjon Obidovich Tashkulov from Staten Island, New York.
The incident took place during the early hours of March 28 at a business located on the 900 block of Nicholas D. Hachar Road. According to officials, a trailer was in the process of reversing into a loading dock when it unintentionally struck Tashkulov.
Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. Laredo police spokesman Joe Baeza confirmed that the driver involved fully cooperated with investigators and showed no signs of impairment.
Due to the incident occurring on private property, the case is being managed by the Crimes Against Persons Division (CAPERS). The investigation is ongoing.
