Fatal York County shooting death of Jaliel Williams – Obituary
Jaliel Williams, 24, was fatally shot in York, Pennsylvania, on April 2, 2025. The York County Coroner confirmed his death following an autopsy conducted on April 4. Williams succumbed to his gunshot wounds at Wellspan York Hospital and was declared deceased at 9:01 p.m.
The shooting occurred in the 600 block of Front Street around 8:20 p.m. Authorities responded to the scene after reports of gunfire were made. A 17-year-old was also injured during the incident and is currently in stable condition.
The York City Police Department is actively investigating the case. Officials are asking anyone with relevant details to reach out to the department to assist with the investigation.
