Fatal Richland County Arby’s parking lot shooting death of Aaron J. Weibel – Obituary

Aaron J. Weibel, 34, from Camden, has been identified as the victim in a deadly shooting that occurred on April 17 in Richland County.

The incident took place in the parking lot of an Arby’s located on Garners Ferry Road. According to the Columbia Police Department, a 16-year-old male became involved in an argument with Weibel, which escalated into a physical altercation.

The teen allegedly shot Weibel in the upper body, leading to his death. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the homicide, and the teenager is currently in custody at the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
