Authorities in Alameda County have identified two men who died in a deadly vehicle collision in Livermore early Monday morning. Jorge Gutierrez, 49, of Tracy, and Isaiah Daniel Paiva, 23, of Manteca, were both killed in the crash.
The Livermore Police Department reported the incident occurred just before 6 a.m. on Isabel Avenue, between Vallecitos Road and Kalthoff Common. The crash involved a Ram pickup truck and a Honda sedan, which collided north of the intersection.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, Paiva was driving the Honda, while Gutierrez was operating the Ram.
The cause of the collision remains under active investigation by local authorities.
