Fatal Chula Vista crash death of Josue Calderon Alcala – Obituary
Josue Calderon Alcala, aged 47, from Chula Vista, California, tragically lost his life in a collision on April 16, 2025.
The crash occurred when Alcala was riding a 2006 Kawasaki ZX-6R eastbound on East Orange Avenue and collided with a 2023 Audi Q3 that was turning south onto Max Avenue from West Orange Avenue.
Alcala was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Audi’s 34-year-old female driver, who was pregnant, and her one-year-old passenger sustained only minor injuries.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the crash an accident. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Alcala’s family during this difficult time.
