Michael A. Alexander dies in fatal South Side crash

Fatal South Side crash death of Michael A. Alexander – Obituary

Michael A. Alexander, 69, tragically lost his life in a crash on the South Side of Chicago on Sunday, April 20, 2025. The incident occurred around 12:17 a.m. near West 111th and South Halsted streets in the Morgan Park neighborhood.

According to the Chicago Police Department, Alexander was driving a silver sedan when he lost control of the vehicle. The car struck a median and became airborne before hitting a tree and landing in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by CPD’s Major Accident detectives.
