Carl Florence Eucogco Gargarita, 36, was identified as the individual who lost his life in a shooting that took place earlier this month in the Pagachao neighborhood of Hågat, Guam.
The Guam Police Department confirmed through an autopsy that Gargarita died from a gunshot wound after being shot on April 3 at a residence located at 75 Mao Drive. Authorities officially ruled his death a homicide.
According to the police, Gargarita had arrived at the location where an argument broke out between him and two unknown men outside the house. During the confrontation, gunfire erupted. Both suspects fled the scene, with one reportedly getting into a gray SUV while the other escaped on foot.
The Guam Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Section is actively working on the case. They have released descriptions of the suspects in an effort to get assistance from the public. One suspect is said to be bald, heavyset, with light skin, and around 5’5″ to 5’7″ tall. He was last seen in black clothing. The second suspect is described as slimmer, darker-skinned, approximately 5’7″ to 5’9″ tall, and wearing a red shirt and brown pants.
