Zachery Ryan Taylor, a 20-year-old from Rio Linda, lost his life following a motorcycle collision on Tuesday night in North Sacramento. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Marysville Boulevard and Wind Creek Drive.
According to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office, Taylor was found with critical injuries by officers responding to the scene along the 4900 block of Marysville Boulevard. He was quickly transported to a hospital, where he later died from the trauma sustained in the crash.
Authorities stated that the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The Sacramento Police Department is actively looking into the circumstances of the crash.
