Mason Doran dies in fatal Syracuse shooting
Fatal Syracuse shooting death of Mason Doran – Obituary.
Mason Doran, 26, was fatally shot Wednesday evening on Syracuse’s North Side during a dispute. The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. in the 100 block of Neutral Court. According to Syracuse Police Chief Joseph Cecile, the shooting took place after a confrontation between Doran and two other individuals. One of the suspects retrieved a gun from a car and shot Doran multiple times.
Officers responded to the scene and found Doran with gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead from his injuries. The authorities are continuing to investigate the incident, and no arrests have been made yet. This incident occurred just hours after another fatal shooting near Armory Square, where a 61-year-old man was killed in a road rage incident.
