Fatal Schenectady shooting death of Wilfredo Vasquez Jr. – Obituary.

The victim of a deadly shooting in Schenectady has been identified as 36-year-old Wilfredo Vasquez Jr. The shooting occurred on April 23, just before 3:30 p.m., near 1807 Van Vranken Avenue. Upon arrival, police officers found Vasquez with gunshot wounds to his torso. He was quickly transported to Ellis Hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities believe the incident may have been the result of an ongoing dispute, and the case is being investigated as a homicide.
