Authorities have released the names of the three individuals who lost their lives in a small plane crash on Saturday morning in White County, Tennessee. According to Dean Selby, Director of the Upper Cumberland Regional Airport, the deceased include pilot Jonathan Braun and passengers Dylan Clay Davis and his wife, Kelsie Lynn Davis, both of Alabama.

The plane reportedly went down just before noon. Witnesses saw the aircraft descend and promptly alerted emergency services. However, locating the wreckage proved challenging. Selby mentioned that one of their pilots took to the skies and was ultimately able to spot the crash site from above.

The plane was found in a field near Almyra Road. Selby stated that the airport typically sees between 90 to 300 daily operations, and this tragedy marks the first fatal accident at the facility in roughly 15 to 16 years.

At this time, the specific cause of the crash remains undetermined. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have both launched an investigation to determine what led to the fatal accident.
