Fatal Lake Barcroft crash death of Ashraf Bhagat and Nazir Bhagat – Obituary
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Ashraf Bhagat, 75, and Nazir Bhagat, 81, both from Falls Church, tragically lost their lives when their Tesla crashed into a tree on Sunday, April 20, 2025, around 6:30 p.m. Officers from the Fairfax County Police Department arrived at the scene, located in the 6400 block of Lakeview Drive in the Lake Barcroft neighborhood, to find the 2023 Tesla severely damaged after the single-vehicle accident. Ashraf Bhagat was declared dead at the scene, while Nazir Bhagat, a passenger, was taken to the hospital but later succumbed to life-threatening injuries. The Crash Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating whether speed or alcohol played a role in the deadly crash.
