Fatal La Grange crash death of Brett Lane and Melissa Ann Lane – Obituary
Brett Lane, 51, and Melissa Ann Lane, 49, both residents of Hinsdale, have been identified as the victims who lost their lives in a multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in La Grange, Illinois.
The collision occurred around 1:50 p.m. near the intersection of 47th Street and Willow Springs Road, according to the La Grange Police Department. When officers arrived, they discovered that seven vehicles were involved in the accident.
Emergency crews from multiple agencies responded quickly to assist those injured. In addition to Brett and Melissa Lane, who were pronounced dead, several others were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
The current conditions of those hospitalized have not been made public at this time.
