Lauren Souza dies in fatal Bedford car crash

Lauren Souza dies in fatal Bedford car crash

Fatal Bedford car crash death of Lauren Souza – Obituary

Lauren Souza, a junior at Trinity High School, tragically lost her life early Sunday morning in a single-car accident on Back River Road in Bedford, New Hampshire.

Around 12:30 a.m., Souza’s vehicle was traveling south near the intersection with County Road, in front of Peter Woodbury School, when it veered off the right side of the road. The car struck a utility pole and flipped over into the school’s parking lot.

Emergency responders from Bedford police and fire departments arrived quickly, but Souza had succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

By Sunday afternoon, the damaged utility pole remained unrestored, and signs of the crash, including marks in the dirt and a broken tree, were still visible.

Trinity High School announced Souza’s passing in a letter to its students, expressing deep sorrow and offering prayers for her and her family during this devastating time. The school also stated that no academic classes would be held the next day, but counseling services would be available to support grieving students.

Authorities have confirmed that Lauren Souza was a Bedford resident, and an investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
