Fatal Blount County crash death of Shawn M. Albright – Obituary
Shawn M. Albright, a 34-year-old man from Hayden, tragically lost his life in a head-on collision in Blount County, Alabama, on Saturday afternoon. The accident occurred at approximately 2:50 p.m. on Blount County 5, near Pinecrest Drive, about three miles west of Blount Springs.
According to Alabama State Troopers, Albright was driving a Honda Accord when it collided with a Dodge Ram 1500, which was being driven by 46-year-old Bridget Biggs of Pinson. Albright, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Biggs and a juvenile passenger in her truck were transported to local hospitals, though the severity of their injuries has not been disclosed. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the crash.
The incident is under active investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
