Fatal Gig Harbor shooting death of Alejandro Huitron Campos and Oliverio Huitron-Rosalez – Obituary

Alejandro Huitron Campos, 31, and Oliverio Huitron-Rosalez, 64, were found dead inside a burning home in Gig Harbor, Washington, on April 8, 2025. The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that both men died from gunshot wounds to the head and ruled their deaths as homicides.

 

The deadly fire broke out at a recently leased home on the 15600 block of 14th Avenue Northwest. Deputies and fire crews arrived around 8 p.m. to find the residence fully engulfed in flames. Neighbors reported hearing a loud explosion prior to the fire erupting.

 

Authorities discovered the bodies of both victims inside the structure. At the time, the cause and manner of death were still pending until Monday’s announcement from the medical examiner.

 

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is treating the case as a suspicious incident and continues to investigate. No suspects have been arrested as of yet, and officials have not released further details.
