Donna Robinson arrested after Barre man Franklin Driscoll dies from gunshot wound

Fatal Barre shooting death of Franklin Driscoll – Obituary

Franklin Driscoll, 45, of Barre, tragically lost his life after being shot inside a home on North Main Street in Barre on Thursday, April 24.

Vermont State Police reported that Driscoll was shot in the abdomen at approximately 5:25 p.m. He was later pronounced dead early the next morning at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Donna Robinson, 43, of Washington, Vermont, has been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the shooting. In addition to manslaughter, she faces multiple charges, including burglary, firearm possession by a prohibited person, simple assault, and reckless endangerment. Robinson pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter charge and was ordered held without bail.
