Katina Perck Leggion dies in fatal St. Gabriel pedestrian accident

Fatal St. Gabriel Highway 30 accident death of Katina Perck Leggion – Obituary.

Katina Perck Leggion, 51, of St. Amant, tragically lost her life early on the morning of April 27, 2025, after being run over by a pickup truck.

According to a family member, Leggion was a passenger on a motorcycle that stalled on Highway 30. Shortly after, a pickup truck struck her, and she died at the scene.

The driver of the pickup, Sean Alteri, 51, from Gonzales, was arrested and charged with First-Offense DWI and Vehicular Homicide. As of the latest reports, he remains in custody at the Iberville Parish Jail, awaiting a bond hearing.
