Morghan Noel Gore dies in fatal Clarendon County motorcycle crash

Fatal Clarendon County motorcycle crash death of Morghan Noel Gore – Obituary

Morghan Noel Gore, a 30-year-old woman from Hartsville, lost her life Monday morning in a collision on Interstate 95 in Clarendon County, according to reports from the South Carolina Highway Patrol and Coroner Jacqueline Blackwell.

 

The crash happened around 7:11 a.m. near mile marker 127, roughly eight miles north of Manning. Master Trooper William Bennett stated that a 2022 Ford pickup truck and a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle were both heading southbound when the pickup struck the motorcycle from behind.

 

Gore, who was riding as a passenger on the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene due to her injuries, the coroner confirmed. An autopsy has been scheduled for later in the week.

 

The motorcycle’s driver was taken to McLeod Health Florence for medical care. None of the three occupants in the pickup truck sustained injuries.

 

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the fatal crash.
