Fatal Perryopolis crash death of Paul Corbett – Obituary

A motorcyclist tragically lost his life early Tuesday morning in a head-on collision on Route 51 near Perryopolis.

The victim, 57-year-old Paul Corbett from Perryopolis, was riding southbound when his motorcycle veered into the northbound lanes, colliding with a pickup truck at around 5:30 a.m. in Perry Township.

 

Corbett was pronounced dead at the scene by Fayette County Deputy Coroner Lauren Bilski. The driver of the pickup truck, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for medical treatment. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
