Richard Patrick A. Parks dies in fatal Silver Spring pedestrian collision

Fatal Montgomery County pedestrian death of Richard Patrick A. Parks – Obituary.

Richard Patrick A. Parks, 55, of Silver Spring, tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle on the evening of April 26, 2025.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:59 p.m. at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Aspen Hill Road. A silver 2024 Acura Integra, traveling northbound, struck Parks as he was crossing the roadway.

Emergency responders arrived to find Parks suffering from life-threatening injuries and transported him to a local hospital, where he later died. The driver, an adult male, remained at the scene and was not injured.

The Montgomery County Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the circumstances of the incident. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact them at 240-773-6620.
