Breezy Brisbin, a 21-year-old woman from Puyallup, lost her life Saturday night in a motorcycle accident near Roy after being offered a ride by a man suspected of being under the influence.
According to the Pierce County Medical Examiner, the crash occurred around 9 p.m. near the intersection of 332nd Street South and State Route 507. Brisbin was pronounced dead at the scene due to blunt trauma to the torso. Her death has been classified as accidental.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 26-year-old man, was taken into custody on allegations of driving under the influence and vehicular homicide. Reports indicate he had been at a party earlier and had been offering people rides.
