Dane Larsen Declemente dies in fatal Tucson crash with impaired driver

Fatal Tucson crash death of Dane Larsen Declemente – Obituary

Dane Larsen Declemente, 39, tragically lost his life in a head-on collision on Tucson’s east side Sunday night. Declemente was riding his motorcycle south on South Prudence Road when he was struck by a 2005 Toyota Corolla traveling the wrong way in the southbound lane.

The driver, Gabriel John Townsend, 22, was speeding and is suspected of impairment at the time of the crash. Declemente died at the scene.

Townsend was arrested on manslaughter charges and is being held on a $1 million bond. This marks the 16th fatal motorcycle crash in Tucson this year, an increase from last year’s nine during the same period.
