Fatal Fort Hall car crash death of Darrin Ralph Moore – Obituary

Darrin Ralph Moore, 48, of Inkom, has been confirmed by the Bannock County Coroner as the individual who lost his life in a crash that took place near Fort Hall. The collision occurred Thursday afternoon on Interstate 15 near milepost 74.5, just north of Pocatello.

According to Idaho State Police, Moore was driving a 2000 Subaru Legacy southbound when he failed to slow down with traffic and rear-ended a 2019 Audi A6. The Audi was operated by a 60-year-old man and had a 59-year-old female passenger, both from Idaho Falls. Authorities reported that Moore was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene due to his injuries.

The occupants of the Audi, who were properly restrained, were taken to a hospital for treatment. The crash resulted in the temporary closure of the southbound lanes of I-15 for about three hours while emergency crews worked the scene.
