Authorities have confirmed the identity of the man fatally shot in a parking lot near Sunset Road and Gillespie Street on April 25, 2025.

Engel Diaz Alarcon, 22, was found wounded at the scene, and despite being rushed to the hospital, he later passed away from his injuries.

Police have also identified Leonard Taylor, Jr., 49, as a second victim, who was a witness to the incident. Taylor was fatally shot by the suspect, Jacob Conrad, following an argument. Conrad, 34, was arrested at the scene and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 13.
