A deadly shooting in Kansas City has claimed the life of 46-year-old Joshua P. Teel, according to local authorities. The Kansas City Police Department reported that emergency services were dispatched around 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, to the area near Rinker and Sni A Bar Road following reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, officers found Teel outside a residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical crews confirmed that he had died at the scene.

Investigators say Teel was involved in an encounter with an unidentified individual just before shots were fired. The suspect fled the area before police arrived, and no arrests have been made.

Authorities are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact detectives at 816-234-5043 or leave an anonymous tip through the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
