Fatal Swanton water death of Keith Klein Sr. – Obituary

On April 28, 2025, authorities discovered the body of 68-year-old Keith Klein Sr., a Swanton resident, after an extended search. Klein had been missing since April 2, when he was last seen by a neighbor. Despite several efforts from both the public and law enforcement to locate him, his body was found submerged in water in the 2600 block of Scott Rd.

His family and the community had been anxiously awaiting any information on his whereabouts. Klein’s disappearance and subsequent death have left those close to him in mourning. The incident remains under investigation by the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office.
