Beaumont authorities have identified the victim of a recent homicide as 18-year-old Linny Nixon. The shooting took place early Monday morning outside the Landmark Apartments on French Road. Nixon, a resident of Beaumont, sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to the hospital, where he later passed away.

Police are currently seeking 17-year-olds Trevor Green and John Johns, who have both been labeled as persons of interest in connection to the incident. Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward as they continue working on the case.
