Fatal Ringwood motorcycle crash death of Michael Mendonca-Lopez – Obituary

A tragic motorcycle crash on Sunday, April 27, claimed the life of 23-year-old Michael Mendonca-Lopez of Cranford.

The incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Skyline Drive and Greenwood Lake Drive in Ringwood, Passaic County. Mendonca-Lopez was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a Jeep Cherokee SUV.

Despite efforts to assist, Mendonca-Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene, while the occupants of the Jeep Cherokee escaped without serious injuries.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is actively investigating the cause of the crash. Authorities are encouraging anyone with information to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
