Michelle Elaine Moden dies in fatal San Diego County incident

Fatal San Diego County death of Michelle Elaine Moden – Obituary

Michelle Elaine Moden, aged 53, who had been missing since Easter Sunday, was discovered deceased in a remote area of eastern San Diego County, according to the California Highway Patrol. Her vehicle was located on Sequan Truck Trail in Alpine, not far from where her body was found.

Moden was last seen on April 20 after leaving her home on Dehesa Road in unincorporated El Cajon. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office initiated a search following her disappearance.

Authorities stated that after locating Moden’s body, detectives from the California Highway Patrol’s Border Division Major Crimes Unit launched an investigation to understand the circumstances surrounding her death. At this time, officials do not believe foul play was involved.
