Fatal Birmingham shooting death of Richard Alexander Wilson Jr. – Obituary

A man from Dothan, Richard Alexander Wilson Jr., was found shot to death early Sunday morning in a residence across from Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. Police received a 911 call at approximately 6:47 a.m. reporting an unresponsive person inside a home on the 200 block of 8th Court West.

Upon arrival, officers from the North Precinct and Birmingham Fire and Rescue discovered Wilson’s body. The initial investigation revealed that an unknown individual had found the victim and alerted authorities.
