Fatal Georgetown pedestrian crash death of Scott Kerin – Obituary

Scott Kerin, 39, of Georgetown, tragically lost his life on April 22 when he was struck by a Chevrolet truck while walking along Route 113.

The incident occurred around 5 a.m. as Kerin entered the northbound lanes of the highway, where he was hit by the truck traveling north of West North Street.

Kerin was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver, a 62-year-old man, and his 42-year-old passenger were uninjured. The Georgetown Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances of the crash and is urging anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
