Authorities in Gwinnett County have confirmed that 35-year-old Tiffany Trim of Snellville was the victim in a deadly domestic incident. Her family has been informed of the tragic loss.
Police responded shortly after midnight on Wednesday to a domestic disturbance at a residence near the 4100 block of Hillsborough Drive. A juvenile inside the home had called 911, reporting a heated dispute between a man and a woman. Upon arrival, officers discovered Trim deceased. The suspect had already fled on foot, according to those on the scene. The children present were unharmed and not related to either party involved.
Law enforcement, including patrol units, K9 teams, and aviation support, conducted an area search for the suspect but were unable to locate him.
The Crime Scene Unit is collecting forensic evidence while homicide investigators continue to interview potential witnesses. Investigators believe the fatal incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between individuals who knew each other.
