Baton Rouge Police are actively searching for 18-year-old Jerry Huggins, who is accused of shooting Corey Breaux in an incident that unfolded last month on Newcastle Avenue.

According to authorities, the confrontation began after a group of teenagers taunted Breaux’s daughter, prompting Breaux to intervene.

Huggins allegedly shot Breaux three times, leaving him with severe injuries. Since the shooting, Breaux has been hospitalized multiple times.

Authorities have warned that anyone found helping Huggins evade arrest could face legal consequences.

Additionally, Baton Rouge Police are looking for two other individuals who were reportedly present during the shooting. The department urges anyone with information about Huggins’ whereabouts to come forward and assist in the investigation.
