Fatal Slough assault death of Tomasz Kopec – Obituary

Tomasz Kopec, 46, has been identified as the man who passed away following an assault in Slough.

Emergency services were called to Grant Avenue around 6:45am on Friday, April 25, after reports of an attack on a man and a woman. Kopec was hospitalized with serious injuries and died on the afternoon of Sunday, April 27.

 

Authorities confirmed his identity and noted that his relatives are being supported by specially trained officers.

Kopec’s family described him as a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who found happiness in life’s simple moments, whether fishing, enjoying motorbike rides, or supporting his sons’ football matches.

They shared heartfelt tributes, remembering him for his kindness, strength, and unwavering love.

 

Jakub Nowicki, 40, from Ascot Road in Maidenhead, was arrested and charged on Saturday, April 26, with grievous bodily harm, assault, and criminal damage.

He appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 28, and remains in custody awaiting a court appearance scheduled for May 26 at Reading Crown Court.
