Fatal Lancaster County car crash death of Elena Murariu – Obituary

Elena Murariu, a 55-year-old resident of Elizabethtown, lost her life following a two-vehicle accident in West Donegal Township, Lancaster County, on Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities reported that the crash occurred around 5:20 p.m. at the intersection of Turnpike Road and Bossler Road. According to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, Murariu suffered multiple severe injuries and was pronounced dead after being taken to Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital. Her death has been classified as accidental.

The collision involved a black Subaru Impreza WRX and a silver Toyota Rav4. Emergency crews from the Elizabethtown and Bainbridge fire departments responded to the scene, where one of the drivers had to be freed from a vehicle due to being trapped inside.

The other driver involved was also taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, though their current condition has not been disclosed by officials.
