Fatal Riverside County rollover crash death of Edward Pluma – Obituary

Edward Pluma, a 27-year-old man from Perris, tragically died in a rollover crash on Wednesday night at an intersection near Lake Mathews. The accident took place between Gavilan and Cajalco roads. The crash occurred sometime between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Wednesday, but it wasn’t until Thursday afternoon that passing drivers discovered Pluma’s sedan lying on its roof at the bottom of a hill.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Pluma’s vehicle had veered off the eastbound Cajalco Road, rolling down the embankment and ending up in a ditch. No other vehicles were involved in the incident. Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and confirmed Pluma’s death.

The CHP has requested anyone with additional information to contact their Riverside office at 951-324-7210.
