Fatal Minneapolis shooting death of Joseph Douglas Goodwin – Obituary
Joseph Douglas Goodwin, 17, lost his life during a mass shooting that unfolded just before midnight Tuesday on 25th Street East in Minneapolis. Authorities reported he died at the scene after suffering multiple gunshot wounds. His death was ruled a homicide by the medical examiner.
Joseph was among four individuals targeted in what has become one of the city’s deadliest shootings this year. Police have apprehended a suspect, James Duane Ortley, who now awaits a court appearance set for May 5.
