Fatal Winnetka car crash death of Sediqeh Samadi – Obituary

Sediqeh Samadi, 37, was one of two women who died after being struck by a vehicle while walking with a child in a stroller in Winnetka, Illinois. The tragic incident took place around 6 p.m. on Friday near Church Road and Meadow Road, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said that both women were in the roadway when the vehicle hit them. Samadi and the other woman died from their injuries at the scene. The young child they were pushing in a stroller was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The driver and a passenger in the vehicle involved were also taken to the hospital but were reported to be in good condition.

Investigators are still working to determine the full circumstances of the crash. Additional details have not yet been released.
