Fatal Minneapolis shooting death of Tiago Antonio Gilbert – Obituary
Tiago Antonio Gilbert, 34, was fatally shot Wednesday afternoon in what authorities suspect was a retaliatory act connected to Tuesday’s mass shooting. The incident happened on the 2100 block of 17th Avenue South at around 1 p.m.
He was pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds, and his death has been classified as a homicide. Investigators are working to establish full connections between Gilbert’s murder and the prior night’s violence that claimed three lives.
