Carmina Ramirez dies in fatal Plano motorcycle crash

Carmina Ramirez dies in fatal Plano motorcycle crash

Fatal Plano motorcycle crash death of Carmina Ramirez – Obituary

Carmina Ramirez, 58, has been confirmed as one of the two victims who died following a motorcycle-related crash Saturday evening in Plano, Texas.

The collision occurred around 7:15 p.m. in the 3500 block of 14th Street. According to authorities, a 12-year-old named Elvin Bonilla was operating a motorcycle westbound on 14th Street. At the same time, a pickup truck driven by a 33-year-old man was headed eastbound and attempted a left turn onto Del Sol Drive.

During the turn, Bonilla’s motorcycle struck the passenger side of the pickup, where Ramirez was seated. The impact caused severe injuries to both Ramirez and Bonilla. Emergency responders transported them, along with the truck’s driver—who suffered only minor injuries—to the hospital.

Despite medical efforts, both Ramirez and Bonilla died from their injuries.

Investigators suspect that speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash, though the case remains under investigation by Plano Police.
