Fatal Ashwaubenon motorcycle crash death of Connor Carlson – Obituary
Connor Carlson, an 18-year-old resident of De Pere, lost his life in a motorcycle crash that occurred in Ashwaubenon late on Saturday, April 26.
Authorities reported that the collision happened just before 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Ashland Avenue and Mike McCarthy Way. Carlson was operating a motorcycle when it collided with a sedan driven by an 84-year-old woman from Ashwaubenon. The woman was making a turn onto Mike McCarthy Way when the crash took place, resulting in Carlson being thrown from his motorcycle.
Emergency crews transported Carlson to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The woman driving the car sustained serious injuries but is expected to recover. She is fully cooperating with investigators.
The cause of the crash is still under review, and it has not yet been determined whether alcohol or speeding contributed to the incident. The case has been handed over to the Brown County Sheriff’s Crash Reconstruction Team for further analysis.
Multiple agencies, including the Brown County Sheriff’s Department, Green Bay Police, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Brown County Highway Department, assisted Ashwaubenon Public Safety at the scene.
