Fatal Orange County car crash death of Hoanh Thanh Ngo – Obituary
Hoanh Thanh Ngo, a 55-year-old man from Stanton, was killed Friday night in a suspected DUI collision in Stanton, California. The crash occurred around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Pacific Avenue, as reported by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Emergency responders from the Orange County Fire Authority arrived at the scene to find two victims. Ngo, who had been driving a Toyota van, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another individual was injured and transported to a nearby hospital; their current condition remains unknown.
The other vehicle involved, a Dodge sedan, was allegedly driven by 30-year-old James Anthony Deleon from Irvine. Authorities said Deleon attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended shortly afterward. He was taken into custody and booked on multiple charges, including DUI with a prior offense, murder, and DUI causing injury.
