Percy Howard dies in fatal Dallas shooting

Fatal Dallas shooting death of Percy Howard – Obituary

Dallas police have apprehended Garrett Hudgens, age 30, in connection with the deadly shooting of 71-year-old Percy Howard. The fatal incident occurred during the early hours of April 23, 2025, in the 3700 block of Parry Avenue.

Responding officers arrived at around 4:25 a.m. after receiving a call reporting gunfire. Upon arrival, they found Percy Howard suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders from Dallas Fire-Rescue attempted aid, but Howard was declared deceased at the scene.
