Quentin Caza dies in fatal Toronto shooting
Fatal Toronto shooting death of Quentin Caza – Obituary
Quentin Caza, 18, was one of two young men who lost their lives in a targeted shooting in Toronto’s Riverdale area on the night of April 15. The violence unfolded near the intersection of Bain and Logan avenues around 11 p.m., when police responded to reports of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they discovered both Caza and 20-year-old Jeremy McNeil suffering from gunshot wounds. Caza was pronounced dead at the scene, while McNeil was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities noted that evidence from the scene, including a concentration of gunshots, indicated that the attack was not random. Nearly three weeks after the fatal incident, a 17-year-old suspect was taken into custody and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
The accused, whose name has not been released due to their age, appeared in court via video link at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on the day of their arrest. Toronto police continue to investigate the case.
