Fatal Lynn Township car crash death of Jeffrey Pichel – Obituary

Jeffrey Pichel, a 61-year-old resident of Fountain Hill, has died following a serious vehicle collision that occurred Sunday afternoon on Route 309 in Lynn Township, Pennsylvania.

Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio confirmed that Pichel passed away Monday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, around 7:30 a.m., as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. The deadly incident also claimed the lives of 21-year-old Vannity Colon from Allentown and 19-year-old Israel Medina of New York, who were both declared dead at the scene near the intersection of Route 309 and Gun Club Road around 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities have scheduled autopsies for all three victims on Tuesday. The crash remains under active investigation by Pennsylvania State Police in cooperation with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
