Authorities in Tulsa are investigating a deadly stabbing tied to a road rage dispute that ended with the death of 34-year-old Miashah Moses. The incident occurred Saturday afternoon around 4 p.m. near the intersection of East Admiral and South Garnett.
According to police, a man involved in the altercation claimed that Moses was tailgating him in a red vehicle. In an attempt to avoid further confrontation, he drove through his neighborhood, but later encountered Moses again, this time parked near his home.
Investigators say the situation escalated when Moses reportedly retrieved a steel rod from her car jack and struck the man multiple times, also causing damage to his vehicle. He stated that he warned her to back off, and when she continued the assault, he responded by stabbing her in the abdomen with a knife.
Moses fled the scene and managed to reach a relative’s house nearby, where officers located her. Both individuals were transported to a hospital, where Moses succumbed to her injuries. The man sustained wounds to his head and arm, received medical attention, and was later interviewed by police. His identity has not been disclosed.
Two witnesses have been questioned in connection with the case. No arrests have been made at this time, and investigators are treating the incident as an open case. The man involved has asserted that he acted in self-defense.
Tulsa Police stated that all evidence and findings will be forwarded to the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office for review, which will determine whether charges should be filed.
