Fatal Selma shooting death of Caleb Heard – Obituary

On Saturday evening, 43-year-old Caleb Heard was discovered dead near the CVS located at 520 Highland Ave. in Selma.

Authorities from the Selma Police Department confirmed that Heard was a black male, and his body has since been sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences lab in Montgomery for further examination.

The cause of his death remains unknown, and it has yet to be determined if foul play was involved.
