Dawn Webber dies in fatal Cornish, Maine car crash

Fatal Cornish, Maine car crash death of Dawn Webber – Obituary

Dawn Webber, 51, of Limerick, lost her life on Monday afternoon in a deadly head-on collision in Cornish, Maine. According to state police, the accident took place around 1:45 p.m. on Sokokis Trail North when the Ford Fusion she was driving northbound veered across the centerline and struck a southbound Ford F-350 commercial pickup truck hauling a trailer carrying two other trucks.

Webber was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt, officials said. Authorities closed off the section of Sokokis Trail for about six hours as investigators reconstructed the incident and cleared the roadway.

The Maine Department of Public Safety continues to look into what caused the crash.
